I had the opportunity to review Kingsyard Ground Bird Feeder, a folding table bird feeder from Kingsyard. Kingsyard has a variety of outdoor products to make your space beautiful and create opportunities to enjoy the natural world. You can choose from a variety of accessories including garden accessories, outdoor lighting, fencing, privacy screens for your yard, and various kinds of wildlife feeders. Some of these feeders are even great for chickens too!
Remember, never mix wildlife accessories and poultry accessories. Your flock should have their own dedicated equipment and accessories that aren’t used for any other purpose. If you feed wildlife, be sure to do so as far from your chicken area as possible preferably in an area your flock does not have access to. Interact with any wildlife equipment only after caring for your flock, not before. Have dedicated footwear for your wildlife area like old shoes that you don’t wear in your chicken area. Don’t wear your livestock boots or other clothing in your wildlife area. Wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly after handling any wildlife equipment. Regularly sanitize any feeders with a diluted bleach solution and dish soap and allow them to dry before rehanging to prevent the spread of disease from your feeders. The folding ground feeder table from Kingsyard arrived with great packaging. There was no excess plastic or wrapping to dispose of which I appreciated. I was very pleased this sturdy feeder table came preassembled with good hardware. As soon as I removed the folding feeder table from the box it was ready to use! I washed my table with my castile soap mixture as an extra precaution as I do with any new equipment before using it with my flock for the first time.
I have used this feeder table with my flock every day since filming this review. My flock loves it! It is just the right size for my mixed flock. It allows my larger chickens to eat their feed more easily and it is small enough for my bantam flock members to enjoy. I love spending time with my flock in the backyard, appreciating nature, and watching them enjoy this adorable feeder. It looks like my chickens are at their own little picnic!
The feeder table from Kingsyard has a lot of great features. It’s made from recycled plastic, saving materials from ending up wasted in a landfill. In addition to being well constructed and sturdy, it is easy to clean! I sprayed my castile soap mixture and washed it with the garden hose after use and after drying it’s ready for the next day!
Did you know having multiple feeding stations for your backyard flock contributes to flock harmony? Chickens organize themselves in a social order called the pecking order and it quite literal. Multiple food and water stations for your flock allows chickens with lower status like smaller flock members, young chickens, and elderly chickens to eat and drink without harassment. This helps cut down on flock skirmishes at the feeding station. The folding feeder table from Kingsyard is a very convenient way to quickly add an additional feeding or treat station to your backyard or chicken area. Be sure to clean up any uneaten food or treats at night to avoid accidentally attracting predators to your chicken area looking for an easy snack.
